Long,Short-Distance Relationships

I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of ''long-distance''relationships and how difficult they are to maintain. But what if you happen to meet someone you fall for and start to date and even though you two live in the same state, you guys still don't live close to each other. I like to call it a short-distance relationship. Short-distance relationships need as much effort, work, time, and extra tender loving' care as long-distance and no distance at all. Generally, all relationships need efforts from both people. But back to short-distance relationships.

Currently, I have a friend in one of these "short-distance" relationships and honestly I don't know how she survives and how he survives. They've known each other going to 3 years and they have been dating going on 2 years. Mind you this is a very close friend on mines{{and she wanted me to kinda talk and see what ya'll think}}. They live an 1 and some minutes away from each other. But depending on traffic it might take 2 hours. He's the one with the car in the relationship so he mainly comes to see her, But she realized "i hate not being able to do my part in the relationship". Does anyone ever feel bad because things out of their control hinders their efforts in the relationship?? I mean it is true that if a guy wants you, then he would do any and everything in his power to see you, be with you, Blah Blah yadda yadda yadda lol. But you cant expect a guy to do EVERYthing. He cant just be putting in 98% and you are only putting in 2% and sometimes not even that. Instead of making him come see you all the time, maybe you could switch up and go see him or meet him half way, or have a friend take you to go see him, or meet at a mall. It's basically all about compromise. No matter what type of relationship you're in its all about COMPROMISE!!... (so i guess) But its not easy putting in three yrs in a guy and distance hits you like a bitch..Crazy as it sounds...talked to my girl and she totally gets it...really don't see how to maintain a healthy relationship...when u cant even see your Bf or Gf.

Is sex really the "thing to do"? Some Say, Sex Is Overrated!! But They Just Aint Doing It Right. I mean damn. Me being a virgin is great and all, but im starting to feel like an outkast. I try not to let it get to me at all...cause its a choice and a big chapter in life im not aready for. But for some weird reason people would think i know all about it && even come to me for advice lmao its soo funny, but cant take it as a bad thing..i love giving people the unexpected =D hunnnnay puhlease! yall know good & damn well its a Big part of my personality.. im guarding my virginity with my LIFE!No, it’s not for everybody. but i can still get a lil "schum schum" on the side righhhhh??! Ok, let’s talk about the whole virginity thing.
A: Ok, the whole virginity thing came out because of the breakup I had previously. And on the show, of course, it came up that I was saving myself for marriage. Is it weird that people know that now? Yeah, kind of. Do I care that much? Not really, because it’s not like it’s a bad thing. No, it’s not for everybody.
Everybody doesn’t have to wait because that’s not what they feel their destiny is. But this is what I have to do in order to get a relationship where it’s all good. I just think that when the sex factor is taken out of the relationship, you really get to know a person. Sometimes people jump in headfirst and the person that you’re with never got to know your emotional side. Is it easy? No. I mean, I’m meeting these guys and they’ve been doing whatever they’ve been doing and it’s like, “Are you serious?” Yeah, I’m serious and if you like me enough then you’re going to wait and you’re going to respect me and hopefully you’re not going to cheat because you, as a man, “need” it. I think it’s a good thing. I’m showing a guy that I can wait and hold off and it’s been a whole year and I haven’t even done it. I think it’s an eye opener to some guys.
A lot of little girls do need to know that at 15 and 14-years-old, they don’t need to be doing that. It’s crazy how right-now our society is. All these young girls having all these babies and it’s so sad. I just think that children today are so different than when we were growing up. Honestly,I didn’t kiss anybody till I was in like ninth grade. I got called a prude and I was like, “Geez, I didn’t know it was that serious.”

Responsibilities;

As the eldest daughter
-I do most of the chores, Transporting the little kiddos everywhere,&nd handling everything else when my moms not home

As the eldest sister
-Tutoring, fetching, sending, listening &nd advicing.

As a student
-It's a fact, failure is never an option. A levels{college} got to be the hardest.ugh no worries though I'm here to score! *hopes and prayers* Yes i brought this hardship unto myself

To myself
- I actually make a point when i see myself doing the right things and not get appreciated for them. Not that i care,but i get really emotional thinking about the little work i put in and not getting love for it, so i act up with a bad attitude and keep away for everybody(basically shut the world down) and being in mines. Which is so not good for me and the people around me. Really working on myself to be a better lady that I'm made to be. But people misunderstand me and judge me which kills me...and all thats fine with me cause such is life.(mentioned above) responsibilities!!!! ugh its all part of life..Soo its all good
